A giant skeleton is unearthed in new Kong: Skull Island set video

Following pics leaked last month of a giant (and pink) ape skull on the set of Kong: Skull Island in Hawaii, now comes a video that reveals what our intrepid gang of adventurers might stumble upon on the dangerous island.

Apparently, Legendary Pictures and Universal have tightened up security on the movie set, so that the only way to see anything is by flying over Superman style. Someone managed to capture this humongous skeleton of what could be a giant Kong-like creature. It’s actually a bit hard to tell, so if you’ve got keener eyes than I, please chime in on what you think that giant skeleton is.

The giant ape king's next outing will star Tom Hiddleston in the role of an adventurer who will venture deep inside the mysterious island in order to find not only his brother, but also a mythical serum. Rounding out the cast are Samuel L. Jackson (who’s been taking helicopter flying lessons), Brie Larson, John Goodman, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell.

Kong: Skull Island will fully immerse audiences in the mysterious and dangerous home of the king of the apes as a team of explorers ventures deep inside the treacherous, primordial island.

Kong: Skull Island is helmed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy and Derek Connolly. It’ll hit movie theaters on March 10, 2017.
