Travis Fimmel leads the charge in 3 new stills from Duncan Jones' Warcraft movie

Three rousing new stills from director Duncan Jones’ (Moon, Source Code) Warcraft movie -- taken from the pages of Empire magazine -- have been released over the weekend, and we've got them right here below!

Warcraft is the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the highly popular World of Warcraft MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) video game created back in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment.

The new shots feature my main man Travis Fimmel (Vikings), who is still gloriously bearded in the role of Sir Anduin Lothar, aka the Lion of Azeroth. In the video games, he is the last true descendant of the ancient Arathi bloodline, a knight champion of the Kingdom of Azeroth.

The second still features Durotan, the charismatic warchief of the Orcs, played by Fantastic Four’s Doctor Doom himself, actor Toby Kebbell. Durotan was the proud son of Garad and chieftain of the formidable Frostwolf Clan.

The last pic is that of Orgrim Doomhammer, the humongous hammer-swinging warrior played by Robert Kazinsky (True Blood, Pacific Rim). He is known as the Backstabber by loyalists of Gul'dan and Blackhand (and the fans). Orgrim was the warchief of the Orcish Horde during the end of the First War and the whole of the Second War.

I don't know about you guys, but I think all three characters look fantastic. So here's me crossing my fingers and toes HOPING REAL HARD that Warcraft will turn out to be an adventurous adaptation of the beloved video game.

Warcraft opens in movie theaters on June 10, 2016. Are you looking forward to the upcoming fantasy movie?
