It wasn't so long ago that we were told we'd just watched the "final" trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but ever since that moment, we've never been without new glimpses at the film's characters and story. The TV spots to promote the flick, which is finally less than a month from arriving, have certainly offered plenty of new footage, and this week we got yet another one focusing specifically on one of the new characters: John Boyega's Finn.
So far, we know that Finn was bred in some way to be a Stormtrooper for the First Order, and taught that Rebel Alliance heroes like Luke Skywalker were the evil people who brought down the great Empire. Through some event that we don't yet understand, though, he had a change of heart, and realized that his fight might lie elsewhere. In The Force Awakens, he's gone rogue, searching for a new purpose and meeting new heroes -- among them Han Solo and Rey (Daisy Ridley) -- along the way. The new TV spot doesn't exactly add anything to that, but it does offer some new footage, including more of Finn's anxiety over who he is, and some more shots of Han Solo sporting his classic blaster. Check it out.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives December 18. We're almost there, guys!
