The future is now in SpaceX's awesome concept video for new rocket tech

The minds at SpaceX have some big ideas when it comes to space exploration, and reusability is a big part of the equation. Here’s what it should look like once they work out all the kinks.

The company’s Falcon Heavy looks like it could be the future of space exploration, cutting down on a boatload of the costs associated with space travel — namely, building all those rockets to use them just one time. But what if the rocket could safely fly back to Earth after getting the spacecraft (or satellite, or whatever) successfully into space?

That’s the idea behind the Falcon Heavy concept. Sure, that initial test flight didn’t exactly go as planned (it slammed into the barge they were using as a landing platform), but it got pretty darn close for a first-time test. Give it a few more tries, and Elon Musk will probably get it ironed out.

Luckily for us, we can go ahead and get a look at how the tech should actually work once they get it all figured out. The company has released a slick CGI concept video showing the Falcon Heavy in action, complete with a hard rock soundtrack.

The future is looking very, very cool.
