It's incredible what wonders can be conjured up from 3D printers these days. Witness this wild 3D-printed Batsuit patterned after the Dark Knight's armor from the Batman: Arkham Origins videogame. The project was a collaborative effort using the latest 3D modeling and 3D printing techniques and equipment, teaming up the talents of Tundra Designs, Gauntlet FX and Stevie Dee of U.K.-based Crimson Coscrafts to create the most precise 3D-printed Batsuit in the universe.
"The colours are not the standard issue Arkham Origins, as I wanted to go with the Dark Knight Skin you get at 100% completion," added Dee from Crimson Coscrafts. "The suit is quite comfy to wear and movement is great. I can't bend at the stomach but I didn't expect that. Tundra and Gauntlet had really thought about [the abs and obliques] and provided some squares of ribbed rubber to fit the pieces together, so I set to gluing these all up with trusty urethane glue with added gorilla glue."
Next up on Dee's agenda is a 3D version of Deathstroke and the Arkham Knight! Are you impressed with the results of this bold Arkham Origins Batsuit?
