This classic Batman villain is finally set to make his debut on Gotham

Slight spoilers ahead!

Comic Book Movie reports that Scarecrow will make his eagerly anticipated appearance on the 14th episode of Gotham. They even scored some intriguing details about the episode — although they still don’t know who will be playing the role of the crazed, fear-inducing, big bad villain on Fox’s pre-Dark Knight comic-book TV series.

Titled “The Fearsome Dr. Crane,” (that was a bit of a giveaway, there) the episode will feature Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) first case after the future commissioner gets reassigned to his old position with the GCPD. He and Bullock (the always awesome Donal Logue) will be hot on the trail of “a killer who targets victims with severe phobias.”

CBM also reports that the episode will feature Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), who’ll try to turn Maroni (David Zayas) against that other little psycho the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) by revealing an itsy bitsy little secret, and that young Master Wayne (David Mazouz) will be reproaching Gordon for failing to solve his parents’ murder as promised. Ouch.

“The Fearsome Dr. Crane” will air on Feb. 2. Are you guys excited about the Scarecrow's upcoming appearance on Gotham?
