This hilarious Buffy supercut reminds us that Giles gets knocked down. A lot.

It’s easy to miss by the time you spread it all out over seven seasons, but Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) gets hit on the head a lot in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Like, a whole lot.

One intrepid fan of the series that put Joss Whedon on the geek map has put together a stellar Buffy supercut that’s all about the faithful watcher Giles, and the many, many times he gets taken down a peg or three. Seriously, you’d think he would’ve had brain damage by the time they finally faced off with the First in the battle of Sunnydale.

So, while we lament the fact that we’ll never have anything as gloriously '90s as Buffy to enjoy ever again (outside of old-school binge-watching, of course), kick back and remember all the good times when Giles got knocked down — but still managed to get back up.

Also, kudos on the soundtrack here. It just. Yeah.

So, what's your favorite Giles-related pratfall?
