Rumor of the day: Is this the LexCorp we'll see in Batman v Superman?

We were all a bit confused when Zack Snyder cast Jesse Eisenberg as the new Lex Luthor, but some new set reports indicate we’ll be seeing a very different LexCorp this time around.

A production report from Batman-News notes that some scenes at LexCorp are being shot June 12-13 for Batman v Superman, and they claim to have some new details on how Snyder is reimagining Lex Luthor’s company. Apparently the new LexCorp will be a “young, edge company” in the vein of a “Google type workplace.”

Considering the younger take on Luthor, it makes sense they’d want to reimagine LexCorp in the vein of a modern tech company. We’ve seen the big, hard-nosed corporate thing done to death at this point. If this is true, it’ll at least put a twist and a modern touch into young Lex Luthor.

On a much more obvious side, Snyder is an extremely visual type of director, and the “hip” style of a Google-esque workplace will also look a lot cooler on screen than the typical cubicles, fluorescent lights and drop ceiling of corporate America. So it makes sense.

What do you think? Do we need a hip, young version of LexCorp?
