Official Batman vs Superman title gives HUGE hint of what's to come

Warner Bros. has finally given its Man of Steel sequel an official title. It's also released an updated logo that features a hybrid of the Batman and Superman symbols. The movie is no longer called Batman vs. Superman. It's now Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Considering the film's characters, we shouldn't be surprised that the word justice found its way into the title. Thus far it's been confirmed that Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will appear in the movie. Because of that, some previously called it Batman vs. Superman: Trinity or simply Justice League Lite. It's good to have a legit title on the books.

That being said, Justice League is definitely happening, and Batman v Superman will usher it in. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, with Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Get ready, guys!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters May 6, 2016.
