Check out some long-lost deleted scenes from the original run of Twin Peaks

For a series that ran just two seasons (plus a prequel film), David Lynch’s Twin Peaks remains one of the most influential series in television history. So, want to see some long-lost footage that is finally seeing the light of day?

With the Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery Blu-Ray box set scheduled to hit shelves July 29, the studio has released some footage previewing a few of the special features -- including some deleted scenes that have remained locked away until now.

Fans have been begging to see this footage for years, and even started a Facebook petition back in 2011 pushing for the deleted scenes to be released, and now this collection will finally bring it all together.

In a statement, Lynch teased that “many things” that have “never been seen before” happened in Laura Palmer’s final days. Yeah, we're intrigued. Check out a trailer for the Blu-ray release below and let us know what you think:

It’s taken a few decades, but we’re glad to see all these long-lost Twin Peaks goodies will finally be available for fans to enjoy. What secrets do you think we’ll find?
