Rumor of the day: Adam Driver playing Han and Leia's son in Star Wars VII?

You know all that talk about Adam Driver playing the villain in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars VII flick? Things are about to get more complicated.

A source for Jedi News — so take this with a grain of salt — is claiming that Adam Driver (Girls) will actually be playing Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca Princess Leia’s (Carrie Fisher) son!

Back in February, Variety touted Driver’s role as being one "in the vein" of Darth Vader. So far, so interesting. But now comes additional info about Driver’s character that is actually making us jump a bit with excitement and rubbing our hands in glee.

This is what Jedi News is saying:

"Sounds like Adam Driver is NOT going to play a villain...sort of. He will be playing the son of Han and Leia, and it seems he will be seduced to the Dark Side, and a main plot point for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him."

Well, that’s an interesting twist, if there’s any truth to it. Driver would then be playing a villain (but probably NOT the main villain) with the added BONUS that he's going to be Han Solo and Princess Leia’s son. Very cool. Will Uncle Luke (Mark Hamill) dust off his lightsaber and go after his renegade nephew in order to bring him back to the Light Side?

What do you guys think? Do you believe there's any truth to this? And if so, are you looking forward to seeing Han and Leia’s son seduced by the Dark Side of the Force?
