Considering the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger is pushing 67 these days, it makes sense that the writers of Terminator: Genesis (or whatever they’re calling it now) would also want to introduce a younger T-800 into the mix.
The sequel will follow Sarah and John Connor as they hop through time in an effort to escape Skynet. We already know Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back, and now bodybuilder Aaron V. Williamson has revealed he’ll be playing a younger version of the T-800.
Since Schwarzenegger has already confirmed his robot will be aging, due to the fact that his skin ages but the robo-parts stay strong, this makes sense. Well, as much sense as a Terminator sequel can make, at this point.
The sequel stars Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung-hun Lee and Michael Gladis. If we had to guess, Williamson’s younger T-800 will be chasing the Connors all over history.
The actor posted (then removed) some concept art of himself as the titular killing machine, along with the below note:
"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape.”
Do you think Williamson has what it takes to be the next Terminator?
