Wolverine puts the X-Men back together in final Days of Future Past trailer

The final trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past has arrived, bringing a ton of new footage from Bryan Singer’s return to the franchise he helped launch.

More than any trailer before it, this latest cut finally sets the stage and offers a peek at some of the film’s bigger action set pieces — and it looks positively epic. This easily looks to be the biggest film in the X-Men series to date, and it might just be a return to form for Singer after he stumbled a bit on his last few projects.

We get to see a whole lot of Wolverine as he tracks down all the disparate team members and brings good and bad guys together to save the future. We also learn how Quicksilver (Evan Peters) fits into the equation, and his introduction starts to make a bit more sense in context.

Singer’s direction seems to fit well with the First Class cast, and it’ll be fascinating to see him at the helm of both the original team and younger versions. If nothing else, this trailer looks fantastic, and we’re champing at the bit for more.
