Jurassic World got itself a new player in the fight against those hungry dinos, and he's a True American.
According to the Huffington Post, New Girl breakout Jake Johnson has signed on to re-team with his Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow and is heading to Isla Nublar for the upcoming fourth entry in the Jurassic Park franchise.
“Now, I’m…a huge fan of Jurassic Park. When I was growing up and Jurassic Park came out, I freaked out like every other kid. I was born in ’78, so I was, like, 12. If it wasn’t Colin and someone said they wanted me in Jurassic Park, I would jump on it. The fact that it’s Colin, written by Derek Connolly (who wrote Safety Not Guaranteed) and both those guys are personal friends, I’d go through a wall.”
Colin Trevorrow himself confirmed the casting in a Tweet to Johnson, saying "So we're doing this, huh?"

Jake Johnson joins Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas-Howard, Omar Sy, Ty Simpkins and B.D. Wong.
Jurassic World will claw its way into theaters on June 12, 2015.
