John Boyega is one of the most sought-after young actors around. Earlier this month we learned he was up for a role in the upcoming Star Wars sequel, and now his name's attached to another sci-fi franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit, Boyega is being eyed for Terminator: Genesis. The actor could play the pivotal role of Miles Dyson's son, Danny.
In Terminator 2, Miles Dyson is played by Joe Morton, and he finds himself on Sarah Connor's bad side. As an employee of Cyberdyne, he would go on to create Skynet, and we all know how that turns out. Terminator and Star Wars are starting production soon, so we're not sure if Boyega can tackle both. Perhaps his role in one is smaller than in the other?
Joe Morton played Dyson, exec at Cyberdyne. If u recall, Terminator pays a visit to Dyson's house, son is there.— Borys Kit (@Borys_Kit) March 25, 2014
Terminator: Genesis currently stars Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and J.K. Simmons. The film is directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones).
