After that lengthy delay hit last year, we hadn’t seen a whole lot from Frank Miller’s long-gestating Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Well, that’s about to change.
As we finally creep toward the new Aug. 22 release date, the studio has dropped a handful of new pics giving us a look at what Miller and director Robert Rodriguez are cooking up for the stylized sequel. The pics were released in a recent print edition of Entertainment Weekly, and you can check 'em out below.
Along with a look at Mickey Rourke’s burly return as Marv, and Jessica Alba’s Nancy dancing on a table, we also get our first look at new star Joseph Gordon-Levitt sporting his fair share of bumps and bruises. According to Miller, Gordon-Levitt will play the “hard-gambling” Johnny, who took a beating for knocking off the wrong guy in a poker game.
Check them out below, and pick up a copy of the latest Entertainment Weekly for a bit more on the sequel.
