Rumor of the day: Look who's just been cast in Star Wars Ep VII

Looks like we’ve got our very first casting news from a galaxy far, far away.

According to Harry Knowles, actor Jack Reynor – who won a lead role in the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction (but who has so far done only small flicks) – has apparently been cast in Star Wars Episode VII.

If this is true (and we don’t see why not, but until we get confirmation, let’s take this with a grain of salt, per usual), there’s no news as of yet as to the role Reynor will play in the eagerly anticipated new chapter in the Star Wars saga, but Knowles is pretty sure the actor has indeed been cast and not just going through the rounds of either screen testing or even negotiations.

According to Bleeding Cool, the real big news for Episode VII will be the reveal of the female lead, who has apparently already been cast.

What do you guys think? Do you like the possible addition of Jack Reynor to the Star Wars Universe? And who do you think Reynor might be playing?
