Showrunner Steven DeKnight addresses Daredevil's red suit

A few tantalizing tidbits have emerged about Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming Daredevil series over the weekend, including the small question Matt Murdock's superhero attire.

Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight (Spartacus, Da Vinci's Demons) has been answering some fan questions about the show on Twitter; questions that include whether we'll see some Spartacus alums on the show, when can we expect to see the first trailer, and when will the show air.

While we already know that the Man Without Fear will be wearing a ninja-looking black suit inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s Man Without Fear comic book story in the Netflix series, we still don't know if he'll be wearing the iconic red costume, or even the yellow one for that matter.

(However, recent filming details may indicate that our hero might just end up wearing the black ensemble for most of the season.)

But first, here are some Steven DeKnight choice tweets about Daredevil (as per Comic Book Movie):

Alrighty then, back to those filming details.

According to DNAinfo, there's a popular dive bar in Brooklyn called Turkey's Nest Tavern which was recently transformed into Josie's, a location from the comics where Matt Murdock goes to when trying to get some info out of the criminal underworld.

We also know some of the recent fight scenes that have been shot. One of them features “Daredevil in black uniformed costume beats up guys to get information,” whilst another has the hero in the same garb, beating up a “Junkie drug abuser.” And he fights “a ninja with a kyoketsu-shoge knife on a chain” (filming took place in a warehouse on Oct. 25). Filming notices additionally reveal a scene where a biker pushes Daredevil into eight motorcycles.

What do you guys think? Do you believe we'll see Daredevil's signature red (or yellow) suit before too long?
