Original Sith Lord David Prowse reveals first look at Star Wars: Rebels' Darth Vader

David Prowse played a commanding Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, and his performance in the black helmet and cape was one for the ages. At 79, Prowse is still actively involved in the Star Wars universe and today tweeted out a screen capture of a holographic Darth Vader as he'll appear on Disney XD's Star Wars: Rebels.

The animated Dark Lord of the Sith will be revealed in a special scene planned for the Sunday, Oct. 26, rebroadcast of the pilot Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion on ABC (7 p.m. ET/PT). The iconic James Earl Jones will reprise his "most impressive" role voicing Vader in a short sequence communicating with the show's vile villain, the Inquisitor. Disney was looking for a way to jazz up the prime-time network rerun of the premiere, and adding Vader seems like a good way to do it.

Have a look at Holo-Vader and let us know if you have faith in his return ...
