Watch 2+ hours of Ridley Scott's Alien in vintage making-of documentary

Sure, Prometheus might’ve been a bit of a disappointment, but it doesn’t negate the utter awesomeness of 1979’s sci-fi classic Alien. Want to spend two-plus hours reliving the greatest of the film that started it all?

As folks in the northeast try to dig out of Snowpocalypse 2014, has dug up a vintage featurette that is a fascinating watch for any sci-fi fan. The making-of documentary includes a ton of behind-the-scenes footage, as well as interviews with everyone from director Ridley Scott to designer H.R. Giger.

From interesting tidbits about the alien xenomorph suit to some awesome set memories by star Sigourney Weaver, it’s all here. We also get to see some of those iconic jump-scare moments from behind the scenes, which is oddly unsettling in all-new ways.
