Who needs a U.S. release date when we have these 4 new clips from Snowpiercer?

The wait continues for news of a U.S. release date for the acclaimed South Korean sci-fi flick Snowpiercer, but now we have four exciting new clips to keep us entertained in the meantime.

Directed by Bong Joon-Ho, the film follows some of the last survivors on a frozen Earth as they careen around the globe on a massive, ark-like train. The story is said to turn a nice magnifying class on class warfare, while sprinkling in more than enough action along the way.

The Weinstein Co. picked up U.S. rights months ago, but is still feuding with Joon-Ho over a final cut, as the company reportedly wants to chop around 20 minutes from the run time to create a more linear “action” cut for theatrical release. Not surprisingly, fans are up in arms.

While we wait for all that drama to unfold, the film is getting ready for a screening at the Berlin Film Festival, so the studio has dropped four new clips totaling approximately seven full minutes of footage from the mysterious epic. Check ‘em out below and let us know what you think:

Snowpeircer stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt and Ed Harris. It's set for U.S. release on [insert mythical future-date here].
