This official Ninja Turtles costume hints at what Michael Bay's versions will look like

We've been dying to know what the new Ninja Turtles will look like. Still waiting, but at least now we know what the bargain-bin version is.

One of the worst things about Michael Bay pulling a Gollum with his version of the Ninja Turtles is that, despite seeing plenty of on-set photos, we have no idea what the actual Turtles will look like. All we've seen is a lot of this:

Other than "I bet those dudes must have been really hot in those get-ups," we're basically in the dark.

Until now! Well, sort of.

Images of the officially licensed Halloween costumes have been leaked, and, basically, they're the best we've got to go on. So, let's get this over with -- how do they look?

That green on the face. That is ... a choice. A very Teenaged Mutant Ninja Kermit choice. Also, are those pants? And does Mikey have a sweatshirt wrapped around his waist? So this is a period piece, right? Like, this is set in 1990, when the first movie came out, yeah? And Donatello's gonna have a fanny pack, and Raph's gonna be way into Pogs. I really hope Leonardo warns everyone of the dangers of slap bracelets.

OK, I'm done. Now you sound off -- what do you think?
