Leaked Transformers 4 pics may be our 1st peek at Dinobots

Some new set pics have leaked out from Transformers: Age of Extinction, and they just might be our first look at the Dinobots. Maybe.

Some savvy fan caught some pictures of director Michael Bay on the set of the big budget sequel, and guess what the director is peering intently into? His Macbook, which has some rudimentary CGI work on the screen. The plot thickens.

Sure, the quality isn’t great, but you can definitely make out some Transformers-esque designs. It’s not clear exactly what we’re seeing, but some of the best guesses revolve around a new Cybertronian, and the Dinobots — specifically a T-Rex, triceratops, brontosaurus and some other dino-designs.

Though the rumor mill has been churning about Dinobots for a while (and the subtitle Age of Extinction only adds fuel to the fire) the ass-kicking spin-off team has yet to be confirmed. So, this represents some tangible evidence to add to all that speculation.

Take a look at the pics below and let us know what you think.

Transformers 4 is set to open June 27, 2014.
