Heads are gonna roll: True Blood star to battle Sleepy Hollow’s Ichabod Crane

Looks like more heads will roll as a True Blood villain is set to appear on Sleepy Hollow.

TV line reports that James Frain—who seems to be making a habit of playing the baddie on genre series (True Blood, Grimm, The Cape—just to name a few)—will guest-star on multiple episodes on Fox’s new hit series Sleepy Hollow.

The series's pilot episode was watched by 10.1 million people with a 3.5 demo rating (per finals) and is being touted as Fox’s best fall drama debut in seven years. Not too shabby at all!

Frain will play a modern-day nobleman (à la Grimm, we suppose) named Rutledge. He’ll butt heads with Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), who’s being passed off as a “visiting Oxford professor.” Rutledge will interrogate our time-traveling Revolutionary hero about his past.

It is also said that Rutledge will harbor some secrets of his own that could *gasp* affect Crane’s future.

James Frain

Heck, yeah! We’re really excited about this casting news, since James Frain’s pretty much awesome in everything he's in, and we can't wait to see him on Sleepy Hollow. How about you?
