Under the Dome drops, Futurama rises + 49 other genre shows

Futurama just had its best night in weeks, thanks to a little crossover magic.

The beloved animated series is, sadly, on its way after a revival at Comedy Central, but this week's episode definitely managed to be a high note in the final run so far. Meanwhile, Under the Dome slipped but still proved it's sturdy, True Blood lost the top spot in the Sunday night cable rankings, and Primeval: New World marathoned out its final episodes.

Check out the numbers and commentary below to see how your favorite shows are doing in Live + Same Day ratings.

MONDAY, August 5

Teen Wolf (MTV) 1.97 million viewers/0.8

Teen Wolf held on to its demo score and picked up a nice boost to its viewers for a very good Monday.

Under the Dome (CBS) 10.42 million viewers/2.6/7 share

After three straight weeks with more than 11 million viewers, Under the Dome slipped Monday to hit its lowest viewership ever (though that viewership was still rather strong). It was facing off with Shark Week, though, so we'll see if it bounces back.
