Watch Ronald D. Moore talk Helix and BSG in 3 fun Comic-Con clips

Don’t worry, sci-fi fans: If you couldn’t make it to Comic-Con, we have all the highlights from Ronald D. Moore’s panel about his new Syfy series Helix.

Though the series doesn’t arrive until 2014, Moore and his staff are hard at work prepping the new Syfy series right now — and the writers were happy to talk about the premise (well, as much as they could) and even touch on how the project compares to Moore’s previous effort Battlestar Galactica.

Even better? Moore went off on a great tangent talking Battlestar, retelling the story of his son recently watching the series for the first time. It’s a great anecdote, and it’s interesting to see Moore looking back on arguably his magnum opus.
