Whedon shares what S.H.I.E.L.D. is all about in revealing new clip

While we wait to see what goodies Marvel will unveil at San Diego Comic-Con, the company has released a new bit of footage for the upcoming ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — with Joss Whedon himself walking us through the new headquarters.

The clip includes snippets of new footage, along with some great interviews with producer (and all-around geek god) Whedon and star Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson) talking about how the series fits into the greater Avengers continuity. It’s interesting to finally see Whedon break it down, and we’re dying to see if he really can pull it off.

We also get to see some more behind-the-scenes footage, along with a bit more of J. August Richards’ mysterious flying hero, who will be a major part of the pilot episode.
