Gaiman's new Sandman story gets its official title (and here's the cover art)

Sandman: Zero no longer. The official title for Gaiman's new story is ...

The Sandman: Overture. That's the official title for the forthcoming Morpheus miniseries that will be coming out bimonthly through DC's Vertigo imprint beginning Oct. 30.

And while we're at it, let's have a look at some cover art, shall we?

As for returning to the his most famous property, Gaiman said, "The most peculiar thing for me about returning to ‘Sandman’ is how familiar it all feels. When I was writing ‘Sandman’ from 1987 to 1996, I never had the feeling at any point that approximately 50 million people were looking over my shoulder scrutinizing every word."
