1st trailer for Avengers team-up with ... Disney's Phineas + Ferb?

We knew Disney’s purchase of Marvel would result in some, shall we say, “intriguing” synergy — and now we have a look at Earth’s Mightiest Heroes showing up on one of the Mouse House’s most popular series.

The long-running animated hit Phineas and Ferb will get a visit from Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and Spider-Man as part of the summer special Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel. For a kids show, Phineas and Ferb isn’t half bad, and the effort should at least be comparable to all the other animated Marvel series they keep rolling out on Disney XD.

Digging deeper, this likely shows another piece of Disney’s master plan to lure the younger generation into the superheroic fold. By crossing over into a broad kiddie comedy like Phineas and Ferb, it’ll open up a whole new demographic to The Avengers. Sneaky, sneaky.
