Someone on Etsy is selling Star Trek burlesque pasties (NSFW)

For when one combadge just isn't enough.

The symbol for Starfleet has been around for a long time. Whether it's decorative or used for communications, everyone, regardless of how geeky they are, can recognize it at sight.

So we're actually a little surprised that this is the first we're hearing of Trek pasties. For the (sadly) uninitiated, a pasty is a small piece of fabric that women wear over their nipples during burlesque performances. And now? Well ... see for yourself.

Yowza! Is it inappropriate to wonder whether she's going through Pon farr? Well, regardless, they are being sold on Etsy for $32 in a myriad of sizes. And knowing that there are plenty of geek-themed burlesque shows in the world, we imagine we'll see them sooner or later.

Computer -- end program.
