Tomorrow's revolution begins in 1st trailer for Chris Evans' Snowpiercer

Revolution is coming, and we finally have our first look at one of the most intriguing sci-fi flicks of the year. Get ready to board the last train on earth: Snowpiercer.

Directed by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho (The Host), the future-set flick stars Chris Evans (Captain America), John Hurt (Hellboy) and Tilda Swinton (Chronicles of Narnia) among the last survivors on earth following a planet-wide Ice Age.

The last survivors inhabit a massive train that runs on a perpetual-motion engine all the way across the globe. But over the years, a steep class divide develops between the inhabitants of the front and the back — and a full-scale class war is about to begin.

The film opens in South Korea on Aug. 1. No U.S. release date has been announced yet, but considering the star-studded cast list, it’s likely just a matter of time.
