4 retro Star Trek: TOS episode posters flash back to the fab '60s

This month's retro creations by artist Juan Ortiz are a blast from the Enterprise's past.

Ortiz, continuing his quest to create artwork for all 80 original Star Trek episodes, again delivers a veritable bounty of vintage-style one-sheets for some of the most memorable Trek shows in this latest foursome, with Christopher Pike's tragic profile,  a miniature starship gripped by a god, an ode to classic '40s adventure serials and Spock's cranium exploding in cosmic curls.

For May, the prolific artist chose the episodes: Assignment: Earth, The Menagerie Part One, Spock's Brain and Requiem for Methuselah to work his magic on.  Every four-print series is created on premium, 100-pound, aqueous-coated, satin-finish paper.  Posters measure 18x24 inches, and a set goes for $34.95 at QMxonline.com.

Here is April's selection of Ortiz' awesome Trek posters, with links back to all the previous eight offerings.  For the artist's anecdotes behind this month's quartet, head over to StarTrek.com.
