TV THIS WEEK: Grimm's zombie finale, Kelly Hu joins Warehouse 13 + more


With Memorial Day weekend approaching, original TV content has thinned out. However, there's still some TV to look forward to as Grimm finishes out its second season, and we'll see the start of the summer shows with the premiere of the NBC comedy Save Me.

Also this week, Nolan has a reunion with a war buddy on Defiance, Monroe discovers where Rachel is headed on Revolution, Bates Motel checks out for the season, Kelly Hu joins Warehouse 13, Mark Hamill guest-stars on Criminal Minds, Will suspects Hannibal on Hannibal, Morgana builds an army on Merlin, Sarah seeks revenge on Orphan Black, and mermaids are explored on the Animal Planet's Mermaids: The New Evidence.

Monday, May 20

Defiance (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “Brothers in Arms”

A war buddy of Nolan's comes to town to track a deadly Castithan weapons dealer.

Revolution (NBC) 10 p.m. - “Clue”

Monroe discovers that Rachel is headed for the Tower, and Nora is tortured to get Miles' location. Elsewhere, Miles becomes suspicious that a traitor may be in his group when several of his associates are targeted and murdered.

Bates Motel (A&E) 10 p.m. - “Midnight”

Season-one finale! Everything comes to a head as Norma tries to get her hands on a gun and Norman takes Emma to a dance.


Warehouse 13 (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “The Sky's the Limit”

Kelly Hu alert! A new bed-and-breakfast manager arrives. Meanwhile, Pete and Myka go to Las Vegas to investigate several murders that may involve magic, and Claudia and Steve hunt for an artifact that seems to be fixing horse races. Hu joins the cast in a recurring role as Abigail Cho, a protégé of Mrs. Frederic.

Tuesday, May 21

Grimm (NBC) 10 p.m. - “Goodnight, Sweet Grimm”

Season-two finale! A new wave of undead cause trouble for Nick and the gang as Juliette decides she needs to join him on his latest investigation. Meanwhile, Captain Renard tells Nick his brother (guest star James Frain) is in town, and Adalind gets caught in the middle of a feud.

Weird or What? (Syfy) 8 & 9 p.m. - “Medical Miracles” and “Power of the Mind”

William Shatner hosts. First up it's a look at astonishing medical miracles, and then the second episode delves into the power of the mind.

Wednesday, May 22

Criminal Minds (CBS) 9 p.m. - “Brothers Hotchner; The Replicator”

Two-hour season-eight finale with Mark Hamill! While there's no sci-fi to be had in this episode, Star Wars' Mark Hamill pops up for a guest stint. Could he be the Replicator, who's had an unhealthy interest in the BAU all season? The Replicator will be revealed, and a killer will target one of the team.

Thursday, May 23

Save Me (NBC) 8 & 8:30 p.m. - “The Book of Beth; Take It Back

Series premiere! Anne Heche stars in this half-hour comedy about a Midwestern mom and wife who believes she's become a prophet after a near-death experience.

Hannibal (NBC) 10 p.m. - “Trou Normand

Will begins to lose time as the team's latest investigation leads them to a killer who creates a totem pole with his victim's body. Meanwhile, as Will tries to hang on to his sanity, his suspicions about Hannibal grow.

Friday, May 24

Merlin (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “Diamond of the Day, Part 1”

In the penultimate episode of the series, Morgana readies for war against Camelot by gathering a horde in the mountains with Mordred by her side. Meanwhile, Merlin struggles under the weight of his destiny as ancient prophecies unfold.

When Kira's life is theatened, Sarah goes on the attack. However, her plans for revenge are interrupted. Meanwhile, Cosima is forced to choose sides.

Mermaids: The New Evidence (Animal Planet) 10 p.m.

This follow up to Mermaids: The Body Found features new evidence that mermaids may be real and that authorities are covering up the knowledge. Mermaids: The Body Found – The Extended Cut airs at 8 p.m.
