Once Upon a Time rises, Thrones slips + 43 other genre shows

The remarkable climb of Game of Thrones is finally at an end.

After more than a month of setting series high after series high, the hit HBO series finally took a drop in viewers this week, but it still dominated Sunday night. Meanwhile, Once Upon a Time got a welcome May boost, Bates Motel stayed strong, and Touch ended after a season of very low-rated episodes.

Defiance (Syfy) 2.15 million viewers/0.8

Defiance lost a few viewers but held on to its ratings score for another strong week at the top of Syfy's Monday lineup. Its performance so far has been enough to earn it a second season, so rejoice if you're a fan.

Warehouse 13 (Syfy) 1.27 million viewers/0.5

Warehouse 13 also lost a few viewers but held on to a strong demo score to keep the Monday night numbers rolling for Syfy.

Bates Motel (A&E) 2.71 million viewers/1.3

Bates Motel lost a few viewers but maintained what's been a very consistently strong demo score. 

Revolution (NBC) 6.06 million viewers/2.0/5 share

Revolution got a welcome boost after two weeks of big drops, picking back up during the crucial May sweeps period.

Arrow lost a few viewers but held on to its ratings score. Let's see if the season finale can provide a boost.

Supernatural (CW) 2.07 million viewers/1.0/3 share

Supernatural held on to its viewers and got a nice demo boost for a solid May episode.

The Big Bang Theory basically broke even, for yet another dominant Thursday.

Person of Interest (CBS) 13.16 million viewers/2.4/7 share

Person of Interest held on to its demo score and picked up a few viewers for a good sweeps showing to end its second year, and a third season is on the way.

Elementary (CBS) 9.29 million viewers/1.9/5 share

Elementary slipped again for yet another series low in viewers, but it's still going pretty strong, and a second season is already coming.

The Vampire Diaries (CW) 2.28 million viewers/1.0/3 share

The Vampire Diaries picked up a few viewers and held on to its demo score. It's not as strong as it was this time last season, but it's still serving The CW well.

Beauty and the Beast (CW) 1.29 million viewers/0.5/1 share

Beauty and the Beast picked up a few viewers and held on to its ratings score for a solid week.

Hannibal (NBC) 2.62 million viewers/1.1/3 share

Hannibal basically broke even this week. It's slipped quite a bit from the series premiere numbers a few weeks ago, but it's not doomed yet.

Merlin lost a few viewers but picked up a tenth of a ratings point for a strong Friday night. Only three episodes left now.

Da Vinci's Demons (Starz) 0.46 million viewers/0.2

Da Vinci's Demons picked up a few viewers again this week. Could it be rebounding, or will Starz regret giving this show an early renewal?

666 Park Avenue's final four episodes will show up this summer on ABC, then it's done.

Game of Thrones (HBO) 4.84 million viewers/2.4

For the first time in more than a month, Game of Thrones actually lost viewers and ratings this week, putting an end to a remarkable ascent that made it the undisputed king of Sunday night cable. It's still ruling the night, though, and as we get closer to the season finale there's a strong chance it'll pick up yet again.
