Willie Nelson's audition tape to play Gandalf is an instant stoner classic

At long last, some Big Willie style comes to Middle-earth.

Amazing country singer-songwriter Willie Nelson has done a lot of great things in his life, but one of his sole, great, personal tragedies is that he never got to play Gandalf in The Hobbit. And it's not like he didn't try! Here we see his audition tape, in which Nelson reminds us of why he's always on our minds.

Is there anything finer in this world than an incredibly high Willie Nelson in a pointy hat? We submit to you, dear reader, that there is not. So you can fire that Ian McKellen feller. He's a good actor, but this is Willie Nelson!
