Neil Gaiman’s penultimate 2nd Who episode finally gets a synopsis

The BBC has released the official synopsis for Neil Gaiman’s highly anticipated second Doctor Who episode, titled “Nightmare in Silver.”

From the look of it, it sounds like it could be a doozie:

Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but it’s now the dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess-playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon.
When the Doctor, Clara, Artie and Angie arrive, the last thing they expect is the re-emergence of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes. The Cybermen are back!

Guest-starring Warwick Davis (Willow, Life’s Too Short), the episode sees the return of the original Cybermen and will serve as the penultimate episode for season seven, followed by "The Name of the Doctor" which will perhaps segue into the Doctor Who 50th-anniversary special in November.

Hopefully it’ll be as awesome as Gaiman’s first Doctor Who effort, the wonderful “The Doctor’s Wife.”

Doctor Who season-seven penultimate episode "Nightmare in Silver" is set to air on May 11.
