Klingon karaoke singer growls '90s pop song as you've never heard it before

What do you get when you combine a sweet-hearted ballad with one of the most ruthless races in the universe? Klingon karaoke. Star Trek fans, the gauntlet has been thrown.

Pop music from the 1990s has never been so cool, and the classic 1998 song “Kiss Me” from Sixpence None the Richer is a classic of the era. The great Jen Usellis decided to translate the lyrics into Klingon, then decked out in a solid bit of cosplay to blow our collective minds.

It’s not often you hear the ruthless, Trek-made language used to belt out a love song with such a lovely melody, and it’s pretty disconcerting (in a good way). Plus, Usellis was kind enough to include subtitles below, and the language matchup is pretty hilarious for finding similar words.

So, which hit would you like to see Trek fans tackle next?
