Da Vinci debuts strong, Hannibal holds steady + 42 other genre shows

The late season cable premieres keep coming, and this time it's Da Vinci's Demons' turn to show off.

The new Starz series premiered to very strong numbers Friday, while Spartacus: War of the Damned went out with a bang on the same network. Meanwhile, Game of Thrones set another series high, Being Human got a solid finale, and Cult got the boot.

MONDAY, April 8th

Being Human (Syfy) 1.06 million viewers/0.5

Being Human lost a few viewers but held on to its demo score for a strong season finale, earning it a fourth year at Syfy.

Lost Girl (Syfy) 0.75 million viewers/0.3

Lost Girl dipped for its worst episode of the season so far, but it's still got plenty of room to bounce back, and another season is already on the way.

Bates Motel (A&E) 2.30 million viewers/1.0

Bates Motel dipped again, but its numbers are still very strong. If they keep slipping it might be cause for concern eventually, but A&E's already had enough confidence in it to keep it around another year, so if you're a fan, don't worry too much.

Revolution (NBC) 6.07 million viewers/2.2/6 share

Revolution slipped again for another series worst night, but there's plenty of room for a numbers spike in the coming weeks..

We figured this would happen, and now it has. The CW has pulled Cult from its schedule after regularly dismal numbers. It was fun while it lasted.

Da Vinci's Demons (Starz) 1.04 million viewers/0.4

Da Vinci's Demons got off to a very solid start with its premiere episode, putting up numbers good enough that Starz has already opted for a second season. We hope you like it, because it's not going anywhere for a while.
