Int'l Iron Man 3 trailer offers new footage of the China-set action

Tony Stark will be going international in Iron Man 3, and some of the film was even shot in China as part of a co-production deal. Luckily for us, Marvel is trying to play up the overseas aspect in a new cut of the trailer, which reveals our first look at some of the new China-set footage.

Shane Black’s big-budget sequel will co-star Chinese actors Wang Xueqi and Fan Bingbing in supporting roles, and the international version of the new trailer splices in some brief footage of the actors to make it more appealing to a worldwide audience.

It’s not uncommon for trailers (and even whole films) to see some tweaks in different territories, and not even the mighty Marvel juggernaut is exempt from the need to appeal to as many markets as possible.
