SNL finally takes a bite out of Walking Dead in hilarious sketch

The comedy team at Saturday Night Live finally set its sights on AMC’s The Walking Dead, and the results were actually pretty funny.

Oddly enough, the SNL cast actually matched up pretty well with who they were supposed to be playing, especially Carl.

The spoof poked fun at everything from Carl’s quick evolution into a badass killer to the fact that the writers kill off regular characters with reckless abandon. (So long, Maggie!)

Along with all the in-jokes for fans, the skit also worked in some classic zombie tropes, most notably Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video. Classic.

What’d you think of SNL’s take on the series?
