Doctor Who producer dares you to guess the Impossible Girl’s identity

Just who in the Time Vortex is Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman), that “Impossible Girl” and, in the words of the Doctor (Matt Smith) himself, “the only mystery worth solving”?

Will viewers be able to make out what she actually is? Remember, she was a Dalek in "Asylum of the Daleks" and died, and she was a Victorian nanny in the Xmas special "The Snowmen" and died again. Now we know the Doctor will encounter a modern version of the “Impossible Girl.”

So what is she?

Doctor Who Producer Marcus Wilson is claiming that no fans and Whovians will be able guess the mystery behind Clara Oswin Oswald. In an interview with TV & Satellite Week, he said:

“What’s lovely this year is that we’ve also got a thread running through these eight very different, very exciting stories – the mystery of Clara.
“She’s the impossible girl. The Doctor has met her twice before and both times she died. This time he’s determined to keep her alive and to discover who or what she really is.
“It’s a riddle that won’t easily be cracked. I defy anybody to guess it. Steven Moffat has found a way to lead everybody down the garden path and then knock them over with surprise at the end.”

Is that a challenge, Mr. Wilson? If so, challenge accepted. Right, guys? Do you have any hypothesis about Clara?

In the meanwhile, enjoy the two new Entertainment Weekly cover issues above and below while we all ponder that question.
