Superman takes on that iconic pose in latest Man of Steel pic

We may be getting a whole new take on the iconic hero with Man of Steel, but it looks like Henry Cavill’s new Superman still knows how to strike that iconic pose.

Zack Snyder’s reboot is set to take the cover of an upcoming issue of Empire Magazine, and the main shot of Cavill’s Superman and Amy Adams’ new Lois Lane has been released to drum up some buzz.

It finds Supes in the classic hero pose, looking up and ready for action. Adams’ version of Lois Lane looks pretty realistic, with a simple outfit that wouldn’t be too out of place in a metro newsroom.

This is also one of the best shots we’ve seen yet of the new Superman suit, which doesn’t look nearly as silly as it could have in a photo-shoot setting. The colors are a good fit for Snyder’s grounded approach, and the texture also looks pretty sharp.
