Stefan and Damon are challenged to try and keep the new humanity-free Elena reined in when she returns to high school and joins the cheerleading squad. Meanwhile, Klaus uses Hayley in the hunt for information.

It's a trip to Atlantic City for Reese when he has to try to protect the unluckiest gambler on earth.

People whose ghost stories have been caught on camera include two women who believe they've met the spirit of serial killer Lavinia Fisher, disembodied voices save a baby's life, a ghost torments a policeman's dog, and a woman believes her dead husband might still be around.
