Trek's Uhura wants Abrams to make her a princess in Star Wars VII

Looks like if Zoe Saldana gets her way, you'll see a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover after all.

A lot of people, including the cast of Star Trek, might be a little fearful that, with his new gig in a galaxy far, far away, J.J. Abrams may not have time for his friends in the Federation. But that's not how current Uhura, Zoe Saldana sees it.

I'm totally ecstatic. We are going to give him s--t because we don't want him to ever think about leaving just in case we go into a third installment of Star Trek.

So, assuming new Trek does become a trilogy of films, seems like Zoe feels confident that her powers of persuasion can convince Abrms to stick around. But that's not all. When asked if she'd be interested in being in Star Wars, too, Saldana was unquestionably down for it.

I'm getting ready to call them, I tell you that. I want to be a sexy something, like a princess from another planet.

A cameo, then? That would be cool. We doubt there's anyone looking for a full-on crossover event, but a sneaky guest spot from the Trek universe would be awesome. For Saldana, we're thinking something in the flavor of a bad ass Twi'lek.

What do you think?
