Looks like the next time the Avengers will assemble is for the Oscars

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes — the Avengers — are set to unite again later this month, when most of the main cast will present at the Academy Awards.

Show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have confirmed that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo will all take to the Oscar stage.

Zadan and Meron said, "We are happy to reunite the Avengers cast to present on our show. Audiences who enjoyed the year's biggest box-office hit will be excited to see these terrific actors back together again."

Downey, Jackson, Renner and Ruffalo have been nominated for Academy Awards before, but it’ll be Captain America Chris Evans' first ever Oscar-stage appearance. Notable absentees are Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.

Now the question is, will Downey show up on stage all suited up in his Iron Man suit? It would look very Oscar-ish to us. And it would be cool. Very cool.

Hosted by Seth MacFarlane, the Academy Awards will air on Sunday, Feb. 24.
