Tyreese and co. learn the harsh truth in new Walking Dead clip

After a few months away, the zombies are back. Sunday, The Walking Dead returns with an all-new episode. The second half of season three picks up right where it left off. Daryl and Merle are pit against each other, Rick and Michonne are on the road, and Tyreese is trying to adapt to his surroundings. 

AMC's released a new clip from the midseason premiere "The Suicide King." While at the prison, Hershel does his best to make sure Tyreese and his group are healthy and bite-free. Through awkward chit chat, imagine their surprise when they learn that Hershel was once a zombie chew toy (hence the missing leg).

Not only that, but the newcomers are amazed by Judith. They've been surrounded by so much death, birth has been out of sight and out of mind. They assume Beth is the baby's mother, but are quickly corrected.

Does anyone else notice Carl posted in the corner? He's ready to pop them at a moment's notice. We're really loving him this season.
