See 8 classic Star Trek characters done up Pixar style

Star Trek and Pixar. Seems like a match made in space heaven, right? Especially since Disney now owns another big spacefaring franchise with Star Wars. Well, now you can see for yourselves with these eight awesome Pixar-style Trek characters from The Original Series.

These amazingly artistic Star Trek Pixar-ized characters have been created by artist Phil Postma, who's boldly gone where no one has gone before and has recently posted them on his website Minion Factory.

So you’ve got your Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Chekov, Uhura, Scotty and Sulu all done in pretty incredible mockups -- plus an Orion Slave Girl. (Just ‘cause. Orion. Slave. Girl. That's all we need to say, guys.)
