Capt. Kirk in Star Wars? Chris Pine's trying not to think about it

Come on.  You know you were thinking it, too.

Ever since J.J. Abrams landed the Star Wars gig, our brains have been caught in the same loop, trying to comprehend how the man who makes Star Trek is now also making its nemesis.  Would they make a crossover?  They can't.  They couldn't.  They wouldn't!

... Would they?

Current Captain James T. Kirk Chris Pine was ask that very question -- Could Kirk be in Star Wars?

Now you're really playing with fire.  I wouldn't say that even lightly.

We'll take that as a "maybe."  In the meantime, Pine seems happy for his boss, but a little worried for the future of Trek.

The only way I'll be disappointed is if he doesn't direct our third movie.  I think if that turns out to be the case we'll have to kidnap him and hold him hostage until he agrees to do a third.

That's a lot of pressure to put on a man, Pine.  That being said, we'll get the choloroform if you can secure a place where no one will find us.
