TV THIS WEEK: Arrow's midseason finale, Haven's finale and more!


It's midseason, winter, fall and actual finales galore as Arrow, Haven, Once Upon a Time and other shows head off into reruns for a few weeks or sign off for their seasons.

Also this week, Kennex and Dorian get witness protection duty on Almost Human, Ichabod looks for answers regarding the fate of his son on Sleepy Hollow, Coulson enlists the help of a superhero on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Haunted Highway and Killer Contact get two episodes each this week, more creepy things happen on American Horror Story: Coven, we get a Cyrus origin story on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, it's a Sheldon-less Christmas on The Big Bang Theory, Dr. Wes continues his mad-scientist ways on The Vampire Diaries, Sherlock considers becoming a sponsor on Elementary, chaos reins on The Returned, Larry has issues when Debbie reveals a present on The Neighbors, it's a double fall finale on Grimm, the guys find a baby on Atlantis, and Freya's wedding day finally arrives on Witches of East End.

Monday, Dec. 9

Almost Human (Fox) 8 p.m. - “Blood Brothers”

Kennex and Dorian are tasked with protecting a witness in a murder trial, and Capt. Maldonado is challenged by a defendant.

In an effort to find out what happened to his son, Ichabod's plan to talk to his wife does not go well, and something nasty gets released from purgatory. John Noble reprises his role as the Sin Eater.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) 8 p.m. - “The Bridge”

Coulson calls on the super-powered Mike Peterson to help in a war against Centipede.

Haunted Highway (Syfy) 9 p.m. - “Beast of Bray Road; Tonopah Mine”

Special day! Devin and Jael head to the snowy woods of Wisconsin to track the Beast of Bray Road, while Jack and Dana dig into a haunted mine in Nevada. Another episode airs tomorrow.

Killer Contact (Syfy) 10 p.m. - “Vlad The Impaler: Dracula”

Special day! The truth behind the most famous alleged vampire of all is sought. Another episode airs tomorrow.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

Arrow (The CW) 8 p.m. - “Three Ghosts”

Part two of the two-part midseason finale event! Will Barry be able to save the Arrow? Will Barry make some moves towards Felicity? Will Roy evade Brother Blood's claws? Will the producers torture us with a cliffhanger? I'm guessing the answer to the last question is “Oh, yeah!”

Season-one midseason finale! Russell and Cara try to negotiate with Jedikiah to get John back. Meanwhile, Stephen takes desperate measures to communicate with his father.

Fiona considers an alliance with Marie Laveau, and Nan discovers the terrible truth about Luke's past.

On Syfy's Haunted Highway (9 p.m.), the teams fish for answers regarding the Lake Murray Monster in South Carolina and dig into the Donner party in Truckee, Calif. Then, on the network's Killer Contact (10 p.m.), the team hunts for answers about Lucrezia Borgia, who was the daughter of the pope and the head of the world's first recognized organized crime family.

Thursday, Dec. 12

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (ABC) 8 p.m. - “Home”

Winter finale! Cyrus' origin story is explored in flashback, while Alice searches for the White Rabbit to explain his actions in Wonderland. And the Red Queen and Jafar are none too happy with each other.

While Sheldon's away in Texas, the gang decorates the apartment Christmas Tree and contemplates how Sheldon has changed their lives.

Friday, Dec. 13

The Neighbors (ABC) 9 p.m. - “A Christmas Story”

Christmas wars! Larry tries to get even when Debbie accidentally ruins his present for Dick. Meanwhile, Amber and Reggie hunt for the perfect gift for each other.

Grimm (NBC) 9 p.m. - “Cold Blooded; Twelve Days of Krampus”

Two-hour fall finale! It's double the Grimm when Nick and Hank head down to the sewers of Portland to deal with a vicious alligator Wesen. And then Santa CLAWS is coming to town, but not in a good way when the gang has to deal with the holiday villain Krampus.

Season-four finale! Audrey struggles to remain herself, while William plots to make sure she remembers their connection. And what the heck happened with Duke and the baby and the baby's daddy?
