It's the beginning of the end for Animal Man in DC's exclusive 5-page preview

Jeff Lemire just announced he'll be departing DC Comics' Animal Man this spring, so let's get a peek at where he'll leave things.

The DC 52 has had its ups and downs, but one thing that's been very consistent has been Jeff Lemire's take on Animal Man. Buddy Baker's story stands out among its peers, not just because of its quality, but also because it deals with the challenges of the family dynamic in a way that almost no other mainstream comic ever has. It's a true gem.

So since the series will be ending this spring at issue #29, we thought you might like a glimpse of what's coming up. In this preview for #26 (out this coming Wednesday, Dec. 18) Buddy comes face to face with the Bridgwalker. Take a look and let us know what you're hoping for as this stand-out series winds down.
